Help Preserve the Past — and Build for the Future
― Winston S. Churchill
The Carnegie Historic Museum is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. We’d like to keep it there!
The Carnegie Museum Foundation is dedicated to preserving and supporting the Carnegie Historical Museum, a cornerstone of Jefferson County’s heritage. Housed in the 1893 Carnegie Library building, the museum tells the rich story of Fairfield and Jefferson County — from Native American artifacts to pioneer life, civic history, and more.
