The Carnegie Historical Museum is planning for an upcoming Memorial Holiday Tree Display that will be placed on the grounds around the southeast corner of the museum. As a fundraiser for projects around the museum, the museum committee will be selling 25 Christmas trees to those individuals and families who want to honor a loved one they have lost. The cost will be $125 per tree. The Museum Committee will set the tree up, provide electricity to the location, provide a string LED lights and provide signage identifying the loved one. The donor family would provide special decorations and photos to memorialize the family member or friend. The Board is hoping that the “Carnegie Holiday Corner” with the Memorial Trees will become an annual event. For more details call Dave Neff at 641-919-4640 by October 29.
