Village Life

July 29 @ 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm

- Free

A great hands-on program for children 2nd – 5th grade (although younger kids will enjoy it with a little help from their parents.) Village life will give participants a small glimpse into some of the activities that would have been performed in an early Native American village.

From corn grinding and scraping hides to making face paint and bowls out of gourds, there is sure to be an activity that the kids will enjoy. Participants can come anytime between 12:00 – 2:30 p.m. (we’ll be wrapping up at 3:00) and can expect to spend anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour on the activities. Parents are asked to accompany their child and are welcome to take part in the activities as well. Meets on the lawn of the Carnegie Museum.
